DESCRIPTION:
WW - Hamilton Pan Europ 707 Chrono-matic, Chronograph with GMT, ref 111003-3, automatic, 42mm x 45mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back case with bi-directional GMT-timing bezel, modern steel bracelet, original purplish-blue dial with applied silver indices and date aperture at 6, tachymeter scale runs along the perimeter in white, two inset subregisters for minute and hour recording, 17J cal 11, no s# present, triple signed. An incredibly rare watch; part of the historically significant partnership for project 99, Heuer along with Hamilton/Buren, Breitling and Dubois-Depraz set out to construct the world's first automatic chronograph. Hamilton brought several Chrono-Matic models to market, and typically seen are the 703 Pan Europ and smaller cased 1102-3 panda models. This incredibly rare 707 GMT as well as the Countdown are two of the most desirable rarest models produced by Hamilton. An excellent opportunity for the Hamilton collector!
